Privacy Policy

What we collect

Only what the product needs to work:

• Your email address, which comes from your purchase and is how your account is created.
• Your TradingView username, if you give it to us, so the indicator can be granted to your account.
• Your journal entries: the trades, notes and reflections you write. These are yours.
• Your progress through the course, so it can resume where you stopped.
• Your membership status, which we receive from the payment processor.
• Ordinary technical data such as IP address and browser, which servers record as a matter of course.

What we do not collect

We never see your card number. Whop processes payment and we receive only the fact that a membership started, renewed or ended.

We do not connect to your brokerage and we do not see your account balance or your real trades unless you type them into your journal yourself.

Your journal

Journal entries are private to your account. Staff can read an entry in order to write feedback on it, because that is the point of the feature, and we do not use what you write for marketing or share it with anyone outside the business.

You can delete any entry at any time, and deleting it removes it.

Who else processes your data

We use a small number of services to run this, and each sees only what it needs:

• Whop: payment, billing and membership status.
• Supabase: the database that stores your account, journal and progress.
• Vercel: hosting.
• TradingView: receives your TradingView username in order to grant indicator access.
• Discord: the community, if you join it. Discord's own policy applies there.

Why we are allowed to hold it

We hold it to provide something you asked for and paid for, to keep records we are required to keep, and to keep the service secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

How long we keep it

Account and journal data is kept while your membership is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that someone who resubscribes finds their history intact rather than wiped.

Ask us to delete it sooner and we will, except where we have to keep a record for tax or legal reasons.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and ask us not to sell or share it, which we do not do anyway. Exercising any of these will not get you worse service.

Make a request through the member Discord, or through your Whop account, which is where your purchase and billing live and we will respond within the time the law allows.

Security

Access to member data is restricted at the database level, not just in the app, so a member can only reach their own records. We use encrypted connections throughout. No system is perfect, and we will tell affected members promptly if something goes wrong.

Children

JGM Trading is for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, members will be told before it takes effect.
